I walk quietly - an original poem

I walk quietly
When darkness encroaches
To ward off the rebound of words
That always comes in these times

Attempting the subtle,
I delve into the depths
When the currents begin their rushing
That carried by deeper waters,
I might move without inhibition

Yes, Subtlety,
The birthright I sold
For the entertainments I offered,
Please come….
